Sa-Shai Daniels' Portfolio

The goal of this project was to know enough about the person you were assigned to so that you could answer questions as if you were them. I struggled to find information on the person I was assigned to. I learned a lot about a queen from Mesoamerica (Mexico) named Green Jay. She got married at the age of 13 to a man who lived somewhere very far from her home, she was hidden from the public for her own safety, and for the most part she did what she was told. It was important for me to learn these things so that I could understand what it was like to be the prized daughter of a Mesoamerican king during ancient times. This project represents inquiry because we really had to become a different person. There was a lot to learn about the ancient world. We had to not only know the facts about someone's life. We had to understand their personality.
